I make gluten free cupcakes & special occasion cakes from scratch using only high quality gluten free ingredients. I have sourced gluten free cake decorating supplies so I can use traditional decorating techniques to make cakes and cupcakes. I do not use any flours in my kitchen than contain gluten, to cut down risk of cross contamination, and I double or triple check all ingredients I buy to make sure they are gluten free. I use only free range eggs. If I can’t buy an ingredient that is gluten free, I make it myself.​All sections of the cupcakes are gluten free including the icing and any decorations.

History

Established in 2013.

After being diagnosed with Coeliac disease, I started experimenting with gluten free baking. I love to bake, & just switched to gluten free, and adjusted my recipes. When other people started eating what I had made they told me they didn’t taste gluten free. I thought if people who don’t need to be gluten free thought my cupcakes tastes like «normal» ones then why not start making them for people to buy. I have expanded into Special occasion cakes as people request them, and it’s difficult to find anyone in Perth who can do traditional cakes in a totally gluten free environment.
