This place is sweet, a little old fashioned and a bit basic. My breakfast was lovely, poached eggs were cooked well, the staff were friendly. The décor is that of a cute, jazzed up specialty grocer. Perfectly edible meals and definitely pleasant enough to pay a visit if you’re a local. There just wasn’t much pizazz to the meal. I would consider this a lovely takeaway joint which goes a little above and beyond in offering some café-​style breakfast options. I wouldn’t drive (and drive you’d have to do, it’s a little out of the way) specifically to come eat here, but this would be a good brekkie spot for the locals. I’d also like to visit again just to see how this relatively new joint develops.
