This is the third booking my company has used this place. In the previous review from the other gentleman, he talks about the dated furniture and such. The good news is that they have fixed the issues since last year. The furniture is now new, the beds are new(still twins though) and there is now wifi. All major improvements and this place needs another chance! I like it much better now. So give it a chance! The housekeepers are friendly and prompt at keeping your room clean.

I checked in tonight for what’s going to be a long stay — several weeks. So far, I’m not that impressed. The two bedroom apartment is furnished OK but is showing signs of wear and usage. The KING sized bed is really two twin sized mattresses sitting side by side. The FREE internet in the room is wired — NOWIFI and is painfully slow DSL. The only way to get WIFI in the room is to purchase and setup your own router. But most likely the slow connection isn’t going to be useful to use Skype or FaceTime(which has been my main form of communication back to the states). There is no restaurant or food to purchase in the hotel, only a vending machine found in the lobby. The lobby is also where the only WIFI is in the building but it’s encrypted. The front desk said they would give me the password but they acted like they’d be doing me a favor. I’m using the washing machine and dryer in the room right now. The front desk provided the detergent. The dryer has been running for over two hours and my load of socks and underwear still aren’t dry. Our refrigerator is also not cooling. I placed a bunch of already cold beer into it and the next morning all the beer was warm. I’ve received reports from numerous other crew members staying here that they’re dryers weren’t working either. Some don’t tumble, some don’t heat, some the blower doesn’t work and with others all of those features work but the vents are plugged. The only way to dry your clothes in this case is to take the vent pipe off the machine and let the hot air blow into the room. This morning I found a large cock roach on the counter top in the kitchen. This place is starting to gross me out. The shower has A LOT of mold around the window and along the tub edges and floor. This sort of mold can easily become airborne when showering and make you sick. I mentioned the mold to the front desk but they insisted that the room is cleaned regularly, so I guess I don’t understand why it’s so hard for housekeeping to pour a little bleach and water into a spray bottle and spray the mold in the shower area. The front desk agreed to move me into another room after promising that a repair technician would be by the next day to repair the dryer and the refrigerator. After returning to the room the next day the refrigerator was still warm, the dryer inoperative and the dead roach was still on the counter where he met his demise.
