I’m sorry to say this … As I live in Wolli Creek and really love the place … It’s new … up & coming … and exciting … just a pity I can’t say the say about this eatery … It’s my second time here and both times the food had been bland … flavor minimal … no napkins … no forks … and communication a problem with ordering food the first time without wondering what will be brought out. I guess when everything else is shut on a late night and this is the only place open … you get what you get … will I try it a 3rd time ??? … probably not … might take up the option and go to Woolies and find something there.

Order carefully here. The whole steamed flounder is delicious, as is the spicy pork special dish. Ask for the kind of dishes that the Asian clientele order not the usual gweilo fare — and then you will get flavour! It’s still early days for this restaurant and hopefully it will get better over time.

This place is quite disappointing as you would think that with such a name, there would be more flavour to their food. However their food is pretty bland. We had a prawn dish and a rice noodle fish and they both lacked flavour. Some of the rice noodles were clumped together. And even the tea was quite watered down too. We’ve been to this place twice and It’s been quite disappointing both times. Might have to go somewhere else if we need same flavour in our meals.

If you are going to include the word ‘flavor’ in your restaurant name(even if it is spelt wrong) then your food should live up to the name. Alas, that was not the case with Flavor Wolli Creek. we had prawns with cashew nuts and celery and there was no taste to the prawns or sauce, and equally the beef noodles lacked any real flavour. Very bland and very disappointing.
