The wife booked this place on line easily a good 6 months in advanced through my Agoda account, so I had no idea what I was getting myself in for when she told me the approximate location(being an ex Perth temporary resident for 8 years). I received a text message from the Manager/proprietor of this place about 24 hours before arriving just to confirm date/time of arrival. When we arrived, the friendly Patsy greeted us, and after a tiny bit of paperwork, showed us around the complex. It is a very clean & modern complex. The bedding was comfortable and the rooms were decent sizes. The bathroom had plenty of room with good ventilation, however a little annoying thing was the location of the toilet roll holder next to the toilet. You virtually had to spin 90 degrees around to actually reach the toilet paper in this awkward position a little behind you. The eating area was clean at all times & seemed to has anything required from cooking a piece of toast, to creating a Sunday Roast like mother used to cook. The laundry seemed to have everything that you would need for those longer extended stays with requires a bit of clothes washing. All in all, it wasn’t a bad experience, however my first world issue is that I prefer hotels. Not 100% sold on the B&B or the shared sort of housing arrangement. I generally love the anonymity that hotels offer. Here, I felt bad when coming in late or making noise when walking up the stairs in case people were sleeping — unfortunately other holiday makers were not trying to be as quiet as us on occasions. One other big shock was the size of the television. My computer screen at home is actually bigger than this tiny thing. Others may love this place. It is very local to most amenities, although the neighbourhood isn’t my sort of cup of tea. I may just have to stick to the Holiday Inn in Perth.
