As far as pizza places go this place is ok. There’s nothing extraordinary but nothing bad either. The bases are good, as Brad said, not under cooked. There’s not a lot of zest in the sauce, which is something I rate high but not found in Australian pizza places (I’m from California… land of zesty pizza sauce).
The service is very good, which I count as important coming from a culture of good service.

If you live in the area, you’ve had a few drinks and feel that need for pizza, Sampes is an alright option. I don’t foresee any medals for excellence in the field of Italian cuisine or phenomenal service, but delivery is free, and that’s what makes this place an option.
The pizzas themselves are what I’d call fast food pizzas. You know the ones. The ones you complain loudly about if you’re given one in a proper restaurant, but you’re more than happy to settle for as takeaway, provided it’s priced appropriately. They’re not bad, they’re just not that great. They’re not terribly cheap, either.
One thing I will say is that the bases themselves aren’t undercooked. I prefer overcooked to undercooked, and lets face it, in the fast food industry, it’s never going to be spot on.
