This place is a lot of fun, whether with kids or not. On one of Perth’s rare rainy days, it’s definitely worth checking out.

This place is amazing. The kids had so much fun. We were there for almost 4 hours, and I had to drag the kids out at closing time. The lady I bought tickets from said it was geared more for younger kids, however my 13 year old and I had just has much fun as my 7 year old. I can’t wait to go back.

Scitech just keeps getting better! It’s the perfect place to go to entertain the kids on the holidays! I work as a nanny and love taking the kids here’s as they love it and can run around learning new things and playing with different technologies while you can sit and read a book. There is some amazing new games and gadgets now and this time I even got in there and was playing with the different games because they were so much fun! You can also go to different science shows that run for around 30 minutes and there is the discovery centre as well where there is a huge movie theatre. Although, the discovery cente can be a bit daunting for children as you and sitting almost vertical and the movie moves around really fast that a lot of the kids complained of feeling motion sickness or scared of the height so keep that in mind of your kid suffers from these!

Scitech is a great place to go if you want to experience fun whilst being educated.
A day at Scitech includes a movie at the Planetarium, a puppet show, a science show and many hands on exhibits.
Some exhibitions are permanent, whilst others are temporary. One thing is for sure — they are all fun!
There is a gift shop on the premises and vending machines to buy food and snacks.
The kids will love science after visiting Scitech, and as they grow older, they will appreciate what the exhibits are teaching them.
There is a separate play area for younger children, which introduces them to science, using simple ideas. Younger children will also enjoy the puppet shows.
Some of the exhibits are absolutely fantastic, and there is always staff around to answer any questions, or to assist with explanations.
There is an age restriction for children visiting Horizons to watch the film, as the inside of Horizon is very steep and young children may feel overwhelmed by the amazing effects featured in each film.

Scitech is a popular place for kids, and also a popular place to take schoolkids for a day excursion. There are different exhibits held throughout the year, and some of the exhibits in the past include a CSI-​for-​kids where kids were given the opportunity to solve a «crime», and how special effects were done in movies.
The great thing about Scitech is that all the exhibits are hands-​on, so kids [and adults] can learn by doing. This can facilitate learning because you can see exactly how something will work [or not work]. While some of the exhibits are clearly made for children, there are some other exhibits where both adults and kids can have fun, and it’s also a great way of getting in touch with your inner child.
Scitech also has various shows and performances that happen throughout the day. There is a planetarium where stargazers can look at a simulation of the night sky, theatre shows and puppet shows.
Scitech is a fun way to spend a day if you have kids. Education can be fun, and Scitech is proof.
