I am still all supple and jelly-spined after my two hour treatment yesterday. What a wonderful surprise. I mean, I know there is a certain expectation of quality when you are willing to shell out $ 185 for a body scrub, body mud mask, wrap, facial, hot n hard shower and then a massage. In that order. When faced with the facilitator, who is half my age, there was a flutter of concern in the back of my mind. But never fear, Kristen(Kirsten?) is completely qualified, dedicated and just plain damn good at what she does. Not only that, the facility is A1. The rooms have this funky swirly mood lighting, dimmer switches, heated beds(toasty warm on a crappy rainy day outside), soft carpeting that muffles all sound so you feel like you are the only people in the world, the towels oh! I died and went to heaven they were so thick and fluffy. It was very clean and very well fit out. Lots of space so you don’t feel like you are squeezed in to a box. After the treatments, I was shown to a very comfortable chill out area and given a large pot of fresh tea(I chose camomile from the range available). I was left in comfort and not rushed out. Fabulous. I can’t think of enough positive adjectives. It’s well worth the dollars. Go on, treat yourselves. Note: It’s only 10% off for members of Next Generation(which I am still considering signing up to). And the above treatment package was a special — it’s usually about $ 300 for that lot.

Escape is inside Next Gen Kings Park but anyone can book at the spa. 20% off if you’re a member of the gym, which is nice. The BESTPART!!! You can book you’re kids into the crèche at Next Gen and go to the spa… yes thats right mommas. Even if you’re a non-member you can use the crèche too!!! I definitely had an amazingly relaxing massage and would highly recommend it. The only problem is that due to a fire they are currently closed for renovations :(
