Our experience was great. Ambience: although we had takeaway, the restaurant itself looked absolutely fantastic. Smooth, clean, simple lines, nice colours, good feel overall. Staff: the staff was very clean and friendly. They answered any questions we had and were very helpful. Since we don’t eat pork or Crustacea, the guy gave us a special deal(that normally includes the aforementioned products) with a couple extra spring roles. Food: the food is good. It has simple, subtle flavours. We ordered vegetable fried rice, Mongolian beef, Szechuan beef, and spring rolls(sweet&sour sauce included). The fried rice seemed to be fried veggies with some steamed rice in it. I did enjoy it, even though it’s not quite like the actual rice that gets fried in american chinese fried rice. Mongo beef was good. I can’t complain. Szechuan beef was good as well(sorry I don’t know specific flavours in my chinese cuisine). Spring rolls were excellent. Very crispy pastry outside, not too much flavour in them, just enough, and slightly soft pastry in the inside. Great flavours coming from the filling as well. The sweet and sour was really good. It also felt healthy for chinese food. We will defos be back there.
