Its by no means fine dining but after a big night it has a large range of what ever you need to hit the spot. I love the burger, its a no fills, honest and good burger.

Place may look a bit shoddy but I think it’s part of the charm. A common rest stop for taxi drivers, truckers and overnight delivery transporters, it’s sometimes referred to as the Embassy Taxi Café. This place operates 24⁄7 and has the widest selection of burgers I’ve ever seen. Taste pretty good and are quite cheap as well. They even have all day breakfast! A good option for those late nights when you’re craving some good wholesome and cheap food.

Another contender for Victoria’s best burger on numerous lists and publications, Embassy Café is quite an odd place. It serves as a rest and food stop for cab drivers in the area. The décor is straight out of the 50’s/60’s, and I don’t think has changed much. Ordered a burger with the lot. The burger was very good, a step beyond your standard Aussie fish and chip store style burger. Beef pattie was full of flavour and the bacon complemented it very nicely, not the usual overly salty hit. Easily one of Melbourne’s best burgers. With chips, it cost me $ 11(same price as the burger only at Andrew’s). Also, it’s open 24 hours.
