Tobacco Station West End

Although this shop is obviously a tobacconist and succeeds at that by having the requisite wall behind the counter housing hundreds (it appears) of different types of tobacco, I found the remainder of the store to be quite underwhelming. I’m sure they can provide everything for your smoking needs (I’m not a smoker myself so I can’t give advice as to the quality of those particular products or which brands are available here), but it’s a large store and although they’ve clearly tried to fill it, the shelves remain sparsely populated with incense, jewellery and other odd bits.
While I was wondering through this place it occurred to me that maybe tobacconists should really just stick to their area of expertise and leave the monopoly on odd little trinkets to gift shops, because I don’t think tobacco shops do this particular aspect very well. Despite my misgivings with the rest of the store, the service is very friendly and the place fulfils the stated purpose.
