Quite happy with this place. No huge lot to offer but you will be certainly made welcome. While standing at the counter looking at the menu I turned around to have a look at a few of the ancient photos on the wall. The owner caught me looking and said that one of the photos was of Queen Street ages ago while the other two were of his father’s own cafeteria.
There is a cabinet of gelati, sweets such as slices and biscuits. The coffee is very strong. Seats outside on the sidewalk which is covered and includes a couch. Hope this place survives as it is hard to find such an owner who is so cheerful and welcoming.

I popped in to Metro Espresso and had the chance to meet the lovely Owner Peter, very passionate about serving quality coffee. I only had the time for a coffee, which was hot, strong and just what I needed at 3 in the afternoon. His wife makes beautiful homemade bakery treats, and there is a Gelati cabinet that had me drooling over the flavours. The menu had a great variety and very reasonably priced. Its worth a visit.
