Wello Point Cutting Shed

After having enough of extremely pricey salons in the city delivering less than stellar looks, a former staff member of mine hooked me up with the girls here (this is her mother’s salon). The staff member & I no longer work together, but I’ve now been making the drive from North Brisbane to Wellington Point for two years.
I get friendly, consistent cuts and colours for half what I would’ve been paying in the city and and I don’t leave disappointed. There are 3 stylists for women’s hair (I see Sarah, but Kandi and Jess are always on hand to help) and Annette (the owner) is a barber, who also takes the children’s cuts. I only ever go in on a Saturday and they seem to be well equipped to handle walk-​ins for cuts easily. The fit-​out is basic, if not a bit old-​school. So, if you’re looking for a glamour salon, you won’t find it here. But, they offer all the services you would expect anywhere else a bit more glamourous. I get my blonde ambition perfectly touched up with a bit of trim to the layers every six weeks and it costs me about $ 140 for 3 hours of time. Bargain! Well worth the drive!
