Nice place — good prices, good alternative to all the pastry/greasy options that surround it.

Grabbed a prawn sushi roll from here for lunch. Rice was cooked well, but the prawn was not fried recently and the batter didn’t taste great. Didn’t try anything else, so perhaps I’d give them another try with a different dish.

The whole time I was at Warwick new place had a fairly steady crowd the whole time. I decided to go check this place out. New place cater with sushi platters on request ranging from $ 30 for 30 pieces– 100 pieces for $ 84 and they need a days’ notice for this feature. The green Japanese stall decked out with Australian flags. The hot meals looked really pitiful, as there were about 8 slivers of meat and a huge big portion of rice with no sauce on it and no salad. It just looked to me like this restaurant was cutting corners. There was a lot of sushi in the refrigerated counter, they had usuals, they were very neatly rolled with a slightly larger than average chunks of chicken/tuna in the centre. I went for the Chicken teriyaki sushi and it was alright not fantastic the chicken was a bit squishy and off putting.
