This has been my favorite café in Warrandyte so far. Don’t worry about the silly name, this place is serious on coffee! Get down there and try the open steak sandwich, it’s fresh simplicity along with the thick hand cut chips make it a winner! The Burger of the Day adds a lot of surprise wow factor every time I visit!

A lovely spot in Warrandyte, perfect for Saturday breakfast. A family friendly spot, there were several families with younger kids here while we visited. The eggs benedict with home-​made sauce were very good, and my daughter was delighted with her perfectly poached eggs. A lovely outlook over the Yarra river side, lots of local art to browse, and a well crafted interior that cleverly balances a rural feel with Fitzroy coffee chic create a restful ambiance, particularly nice on a sunny day.

What ahem of a café.
If you like good coffee, this place is for you. Consistently great quality. Even the decaf is great!
Also good for a light lunch. I’ve had all day breakfast (poached, sour dough, usual extras), chicken salad was ok (chicken a bit dry), lamb salad much better. My fave so far is the smashed avocado with feta rocket and a poached egg on top. Yum.
