Strandbags

The only thing that saves this place is the fantastic staff.
I haven’t had much luck when buying from Strandbags. In the last 2 years I have brought 2 suitcases and a handbag, all of which broke in some way or another. The suitcases were under warranty, so that was okay. The staff were great, and things were fixed quickly.
The handbag was not under warranty, even though it only broke like two months after I brought it. For some reason I expected a bag I paid $ 89 for to last longer than 2 months.
Silly me.

The staff at Strandbags Knox totally rock. They are the most helpful staff I think I have been served by anywhere. That’s a big statement, I know, but honestly, they were good.
I am very bad at buying two things: shoes and bags. I hate shopping for them. I never know what looks good and I am a shocker when it comes to deciding what colour is best. Inevitably, I’ll always choose wrong.
The staff at Strandbags took all the stress out of bag shopping and I even walked out with a new wallet as well. The lady who served me asked questions to find out exactly what I needed the bag for and helped me think about what would be a good colour. When I went to buy the bag she saw my falling-​to-​pieces five year old wallet and chaperoned me to the wallet section. This sounds like she easily could have been pushy but she seemed genuine and helpful.
She took me through the range and I eventually chose a nice red leather wallet with enough card pockets to fit the tall pile I’ve built up over the years. I spent a lot of money that day in the store but I also got items that I have used countless times and that match everything. I was super happy with the service.
