The fried keow teow(rice noodles) is surprisingly good for food-court food. Fragrant & spicy(make sure you ask for spicy), with lots of prawns & meat. Service is very fast too, my dish was prepared in 5 minutes.

I never thought I’d give a food court based establishment five stars, but I feel I need to with this place, as they sell my two favourite yum cha dishes, all ready and in the steamer. Steamed pork buns and steamed custard buns. And they’re not half bad. The pork filling has lots of flavour, and the dough is soft light and fluffy. How could things possibly get better?

Ah, food court Chinese. One step above food court Miscellaneous Asian, which so many of them are. Really, you’re not expecting a magical eating experience when you order whatever looks the least awful through the sneeze-glass of the bain marie. Which, of course, brings me to tell you a little about this place. Yeah, it’s not amazing. It’s generally a fairly ordinary little food court shop that’s run by some really nice people. But the reason I like it so much is that usually there are steamed barbecue pork buns in the little steamer thing on top of the bain marie. These things are the perfect fast food when you’re on the go. Just order, eat and be gone in about five minutes.
