Blink Optical Knox City

I hate anything to do with eyes. Eye-​drops are a major fear and if someone so much as reaches in the direction of my eyes, I’ll freak. Obviously this results in a lot of fear when it comes to having my eyes checked, but this is what I did recently at Blink Optical Knox City.
The staff here immediately made me feel more relaxed as they were very friendly and chatty. I was seated outside the treatment rooms at the back of the shop and waited only a minute or so despite being ten minutes early for my appointment.
The optometrist was fantastic as she tested my vision in a variety of ways. She even managed to put some special dye drops in my eye to help her see it better. I didn’t even feel them! It was amazing.
While I was there I had a photograph taken of my eyeball. This was a weird experience to say the least but it was cool to see what my eye actually looked like. It cost $ 35 for the photo.
It turned out I had eye strain and needed glasses so I was chaperoned back out into the store where a stylist took over and led me around the store. I barely had to think about anything as she handed me various pairs, gave me her opinion then checked what I thought. She made the process of choosing one out of hundreds much easier and it was actually quite fun.
Once I had chosen the glasses I was seated again while I paid and then told to come back in a week to pick up my new glasses. True to form, the glasses arrived in only 6 days and I was there to pick them up on the 7^th. It was a great experience and I will definitely be headed back there for my next check-​up.
