This place used to be great. Haven’t been for about a year. Sadly, it’s very disappointing now. Food comes out with the bottom all burned and very bland. Not at all what it used to be.

Great location if you’re off to see a movie next. We had a few drinks and a dips platter before our movie. The $ 16 mojito was very average. I don’t think there was any mint involved. I was happy we had an entertainment book voucher for 25% off the total bill as I didn’t think it was all that great. Huge place though with a nice heated patio.

Located at Knox City Shopping Centre, they have a nice smattering of menu items but it’s by no means a huge menu. It was nice but not overly exciting. After we’d been perusing the menu for quite a while we were told about the 4 menu items which were no longer available … But no specials. As it was a super super hot night neither of us were very hungry. I ordered the succulent lamb cutlets from the tapas menu. I thought it may come with a little salad but it didn’t. My mistake. But it was succulent. My friend ordered a salad, pumpkin, baby spinach, pine nuts and feta. My friend ordered it with the chicken as an addition. She said it was delicious and it looked a reasonable size. Worth a try but if it’s super super hot look for somewhere with better air con. The décor was nice but we seem to have scored the unhappy waitress.

Not bad food, though it can be a little pricey. This place is good beacuse it’s so close to the cinema. It’s great for a group because they have lots of fingerfood type dishes, so you can choose a few and share. As mentioned previously, the moroccan pies are lovely.

When I worked across the way, I’d stop by here for my coffee fix, and was always happy with what I had. As Brad has mentioned in his review, the prices are a bit steep, however it seems this is the way of things with tapas plates these days. I found the service good, and by the amount of people who choose to eat here, Bar Bosh is a well-loved place to catch up with friends, or eat before you see a movie if in the Knox vicinity.

If this place had lower prices, it’d be a five star review that I am writing. They have an excellent and comprehensive tapas menu to share with family and friends. One of my favourites is the little Moroccan chicken pies, but everything I’ve had is pretty good. The service is really good, too. One thing that’s a bit controvesial is that if you’re sitting outside, they do ask for you to give them your licence so that they know that you won’t do a runner, which is apparently, and completely unsurprisingly, common at Knox these days. In all, it’s a good place.
