Happy Bean Sushi Walkerville

First time trying this place just for some hand rolls as a snack. They were ok but a bit dry. However we had a very poor experience due to poor staff training. Somehow she managed to double charge our card but did not provide correct receipts for that. Due to the trouble with processing we checked the transactions with our banking app. on our phone and it had processed twice. Since there was no manager on site and she was clearly not trained on using her EFTPOS machine we had to settle for taking another order of rolls take away to make up the $. Maybe Jason (Manager) should attend on site a bit more and take the time to actually train his staff.

The sushi is fresh and the brown rice chicken teriyaki is amazing! The staff are friendly and very courteous.
They gave some amazing deals after 4pm ish where you can grab a bargain!

Tucked in the Walkerville Woolworths complex, Happy Bean has become my favorite sushi joint to pick delicious quick meals.
Bubbly, polite service, clean amenities and conveniently located.
Whilst they don’t create anything amazingly different from your usual sushi bar, the sushi is always fresh, they make lots with brown rice (yum!) And also have a range of hot Japanese and Thai dishes if you’re after something different.
Hot tip — order something hot to takeaway, nip into Woolies to do your shopping and collect meal on your way out! MAGICAL!
They also offer a VIP Card which offers you points each time you buy sushi — you can use them for discounts. Only $ 2, reasonable deal if you’re like me and have an inSUSHIable hunger for their food ;-)
