Waitara Station is one of those train stations whose sole purpose for existing appears to be the pub. There’s literally no other reason for visiting the suburb. The Blue Gum is it.
Unless of course you’re a kid going to school before you become a regular at the pub; a motorist looking for a new vehicle after crashing yours on the way home from the pub; or hitting the Taste of Texas pre-​or-​post pub.
So the inevitable question is going to be: Hey Dan how come ur the duke? The answer? See above!
