I had the worst experience at Maurice Meade Garden City.
Booked in for ¼ head of sunkissed balayage. The colourist was in the WORST mood I have ever seen anyone in. She was yanking at my hair and literally ignoring anything I said. She even mimiced me when I was telling her how nice it was to have a day of «me time».
She didn’t give me balayage — I have streaks in the front panels of my hair that look like they are from 1996.
When I asked her about the foils, I said «I was just wondering, these don’t seem like balayage, is it just me?» (Trying to be sweet to her because she looked like she might punch someone) Her reply? «You booked in for quarter foils and that’s what you GOT» Then stormed off.
Then I had my makeup done and it was even worse. It was without any doubt, the worst attempt at makeup I have ever seen. I cannot believe they allow staff to perform such underskilled work and take our money for it.
I wiped the make up off when I left, and now have to grow out these terrrible, uneven stripey streaks.
Waste of money and the rudest experience.
