Considering this sushi counter is in a mall, and considering it’s in Australia(if you’ve had sushi in pretty much any other country in the world, then you know what I mean), Top Sushi is pretty good. Prices are standard($ 2.20-$ 3 for a single roll) and I like the variety. Also, if you show up around closing time everything is at a discount. At any time, they are cash only.

When it comes to cheap and healthy fast food options, forget Subway. Try Top Sushi. This no fuss sushi chain keeps things original with their volcano rolls, sukiyaki beef rolls and their salmon and peach rolls. They also do a decent soft shell crab and of course, there are the old favourites such as teriyaki chicken and Californian rolls. Sushi prices on average are $ 2.20 although it can go up $ 2.50 if it contains fresh seafood. For something different, this Top Sushi at Garden City also offers steamed dumplings around lunch time. They also do a decent seaweed salad and sashimi packs. Its only let down is its cash only policy. Other than that, Top Sushi is tops.

As far as sushi counters go, this has got to be one of my favourite. There always seem to be too many servers behind the counter though but the good thing is, I’ve never had to wait. They’ve always had my favourite Fried Chicken sushi, if you ask they can add avocado as well. I’ve always really liked the Tempura Prawn sushi, and if you’re not a big raw fish sushi fan like myself, they have a plethora of other options, even for vegetarians, like the vegetable sushi and the california roll, and the avocado rolls and so much more! Not many people know this, but they also have good miso soup. With actual tofu bits in yay!
