The Noosa Chocolate Factory

Discovering this place is possibly the worst thing that has ever happened to me. No matter how hard I try I just can’t seem to walk out of here with only the coffee that I intended to. In saying that, their coffee is exceptional though don’t expect to get it quickly. You need a little patience here. I also dare you to walk out without some chocolate strawberries. I dare you!

Hands down the best coffee in Garden City Shopping centre, if not in the whole area. Consistently great service and you haven’t tasted at mocha until you have had their 73% dark chocolate blend.
It’s no surprise that their variety of assorted chocolates ranging from chocolate covered strawberries to rich coco brownies has lived up to their hype (Don’t even walk near if you are on a diet). Depending on your personal tastes you may find some stuff a bit rich but if you are like me the more the merrier. Pricing is average but well worth it.
Only down side is no coffee loyalty system, which if you’re a regular is a bit of a downer never the less I’ve paid more for dirt and water.

..“cause the candy man can (the candy man can). He fixes it with love and makes the world taste good”… Sings my head whenever I see the word «chocolate» and «factory» placed over some chocolate. Willy Wonka would have some competition with this boss chocolate shop in town.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Noosa knows what’s up. I’m talking, freeze dried strawberries covered in chocolate. A board of various hot and cold beverages ranging from 36% chocolate through to 90% hangs on the wall. Talk about choice!
The thing I think I like most though, beyond the chocolate is the idea that the most important thing about the shop is the product. The chocolate and drink are what’s on show. it’s not overcrowded with decore and wasted space: white walls, paper bags and good faithful, always there for you, chocolate.

I had a light 36% iced chocolate and I made noises of delight as I drank.
