We used to have to cross the border into the US to shop at Targe (pronounced Tar-​jay, French for cheap department store).
Luckily Target is infiltrating Canada at the moment, but now all I have to do is drive 5 minutes into the CBD.
Target has a good variety of clothing and home wares. This location doesn’t have much for make-​up and toiletries, but you can usually pick up a few things you need. Today, I bought 2 tops and some tights. Need to stock up on basics.
There is almost always a long line here at the cashiers, but it moves fast and efficiently.
