Your first port of call in Toowoomba should be Picnic Point. Yes there’ll be plenty of locals and tourists alike but the views are worth it. You’ll be able to look down across the Great Dividing Range, Table Top Mountain and take a moment to pause and realise how insignificant we all are in this big wide world. Is that just me? Okay, awkward.
There’s a few walking trails that you can hike should you have time, plenty of nooks for a Sunday picnic and for those with kidlets there’s a playground or two for them to run a muck.
