National Hotel

First of all don’t let the name fool you: this isn’t the stock standard ‘Nash’ Hotel you’ll find in the main street of most Aussie towns. It is, however, the best place in Toowoomba to sample boutique beers from a variety of craft brewers. I’ve also been there for lunch quite a few times and the food and service has always been top notch. Most weekdays they had a lunch special which was around the $ 12-​$ 16 range if I remember correctly. In keeping with the general vibe of the place, the dinner menu is more upmarket and pricey — not a bangers and mash type affair — but still well worth it from what I’ve heard. In my opinion, the best upmarket pub in Toowoomba. Will post an update should I ever have dinner there.
