Have frequented the bar and restaurant over the years and can’t complain. They have good $ 10 lunch specials seven days a week which is always a plus in my book. The menu is mainly traditional pub staples: schnitzel, steak, battered fish, Beef and Guinness pie (pretty good — try it) — all served with salad and chips of course. Service is always fast and friendly. The availability of free Wi Fi allows you to surf the net on your phone while you enjoy a coldie or wait for a friend. This place is the archetypal 3-​star establishment — not great (doesn’t try to be) but consistently good.

We had dinner and drinks in the pub one night. The consensus was that it was overpriced for drinks. I thought it was overpriced considering the atmosphere is quite blah. It’s old-​school sports club, fluoro lighting, pokies, etc.
Our meals were fine. Nothing to write home about, but tasty and reasonable.
