Toodyay chimney sweeps specialises in cleaning and repairing flues and chimneys. We carry parts to repair or replace entire flues and also repairs and replacement of fire boxes, stoves and ovens.

History

Established in 2009.

We started Toodyay chimney sweeps because at the time there were a growing number of wood type fires and heaters around, and very few people to clean and maintain them. In fact no one in our area was doing it at the time. We researched into the need for this type of business and discouvered that there was a huge requirement for this type of business. There was also more evidence coming onto the market in relation to house fires and this was showing that a number of house fires were actually starting within the flue or chimney of the house. This can only be caused by a flue or chimney that has not been cleaned and so Toodyay chimney sweeps was started.

Half owner of Toodyay Chimney sweeps in conjunction with my better half. I am a mechanic by trade and have always wanted to have my own business. I bought a water carting business in 2008 and found that once winter or more so the rain came we were left sitting around. So we decided that we needed to find a busines that complimented the water carting and what better than a summer and winter set of businesses.
