Well that was a meal to remember. Don’t know why we haven’t eaten here before, but will definitely be back for more. We had the share entrée and a main each butter chicken, mysore lamb with rice for 2 and naan bread. The meal could easily feed 4. Everything was delicious and doggy bag to take home for a meal for us and the boy tomorrow night, all for $ 70…

Place isn’t much to look at, but it is a little hidden gem. Food is really tasty. Since moving south of the river, my fiancé and I have had a hard time finding a decent indian restaurant. We’ve tried places in cannington, bentley and even living north it was rare to find a good one. gristle on the meat is a huge put off! Beef vindaloo and lamb rogan josh — love it. Large garlic naans only $ 3! Definitely my ‘go to’ place

At last! We have found«our» Indian place! After moving from the city life, we’ve been on the hunt for so long — searching high and low for our lil’ place for curried delights. We found Kadai King on such a whim. After doing a once-over from the Hawkers Market, we were disappointed that the Indian place in there was sold out(again). I had it on my mind, that I was craving Indian and we decided to give KK a try. Thank goodness we did. What appears to be a retrofitted KFC or some over fast food restaurant, this place was packed(every table filled). The young girl behind the counter was so informative and proud of her family’s restaurant. Don’t be fooled though, she had the thickest Australian accent! We ordered two dishes, one rice, and three parathas for a whopping $ 45 for take-out. That is so cheap for Perth standards. We couldn’t even wait to get home to dive into the bag of parathas. So, fresh and piping hot, we suffered through burning our mouths as we kept shoveling in the doughy-goodness. The buttered chicken was so creamy and full of flavor. The lamb dish, which we requested medium spicy, had my nose running within the first bite. We couldn’t get enough, despite being so full from the previously devoured carbs. Having such high-ratings online, I can’t believe I’m the first Unilocaler to review. This is clearly a travesty! Thornlie may be a heck of a drive for you city-slickers, but my word… definitely worth it. And, if you are a local… I apologize already if there is a paratha shortage here — I’m totally to blame.
