Fantastic bar to go to which actually serves amazing food. Food here is all about flavor, I would recommend the porter house steak. Don’t think it’s your pub steak it’s not.

Great little hide-​out. That’s exactly what Trumpy is, a hideout, well a drinking one anyway. It has a concealed entry– only a coppers green sign out the front, to distinguish the light tan bricks. If you walked past during the day time you’d probably think it was abandoned and forgotten. I did, several times. Inside however it’s very pleasant and slow entry into the bar. It’s great inside, combining both the hide-​out and warehouse feel, set in a nice old building. The premise is solely a food/​bar combo, which makes one wonder about the original purchase of the building. In any case it works great, a little quiet hideaway with good drinks; wine, whiskey, beers, etc and a nice fooding menu. Sometimes known as trumpys it’s worth checking out.

Destined to be one of my fave locals. Even though it was packed to the brim with bearded hipsters on the night of my visit.
Nice selection of beers, wines & spirits. Great service. Tasty food designed for sharing.
