Came for lunch on a weekday. The place was quiet, looked like just family sitting round one big table, but a couple of other customers came in over the next few minutes. I ordered the laksa($ 10), and it was pretty good but not the best I’ve ever had. It came with thick rice noodles, beansprouts, tofu, shrimp, some slightly rubbery calamari rings, cucumber, and a dollop of chilli sauce. I would have liked the seafood to be a bit better quality(and would happily have paid a couple of bucks more for it). Still, I’ll be back, and will try some other menu items. I suspect that it’ll become a regular lunch place for me, and might gain another star in due course, once I figure out what their best dishes are.
