Coca-Cola Amatil Aust

Everyone has been indoctrinated into the cult of Coca Cola, and we all know it at a certain age; some of us don’t really care while some of us get all up and crazy about it because Coke has sugar in it or because it is a multinational conglomerate. I know a few things about Coke. Once it was sold in glass bottles. The company invented what we see as Santa Claus today — the old man in the fur lined red suit; he first appeared as part of a Coca Cola advertising campaign.
What people don’t necessarily know is that Coke makes water bottles, like fresh drinking water to be sold in a bottle, or to put it another way, they bottle water and sell it, and they also have a range of other beverages that they sell. Some of them have caffeine in them and are supposed to give you an energy boost. This is a bottling factory on Port Road, and it has two things especially going for it as far as I can say:
If you are a school, you can arrange a tour with your class to come visit the factory and watch how the beverage is bottled. Now that is a very interesting school excursion as far as I’m concerned. I did it when I went to school and I was really fascinated. You can still do it. You can not do it as a family, so encourage the school to take your kids along.
The other thing they offer is a few vending machines on the outside of the building where you can purchase a drink at any time, and you have a few parking spots to pull off of the bust Port Road to do it. Now that may not seem like much to many people but I also think it’s a pretty good thing. This is an otherwise bleak bit of road opposite a park, so there’s nowhere else after hours to stop and grab a water or a coke or an energy drink, so I think it’s quite nice of t hem to provide the machines and the off road park for you to grab a drink.
The stop off spot was invented long before the proliferation of 24 hour delis, and they haven’t taken them away since then, so good on them; and there is a choice, it’s not just Coke you can buy!
