Reasonable reception centre that we went to for a wedding. Quite well appointed. Food was good. Drinks were fine. Staff were good, particularly a very slim Indian woman (perhaps a student) who worked ferociously with impeccable manners. Her hard work was noticed and should be appropriately rewarded by her bosses. The only confusing thing is why they call it Luxor. Nothing Egyptian here apart from a couple of straggly palm treesand a bit of Egyptian inspired cornicing. The designers failed.

My best friend had her beautiful wedding reception at the Luxor Function Centre last year I was a part of the wedding party, and I have to say, the whole event was flawless thanks to the banquet staff. The dinner service was flawless, and the staff were very attentive, from making sure each guest was taken care of, to ensuring the bridal party and of course the bride and groom had everything they could possibly need.
The main function room itself is beautiful. The room is circular, and the dance floor in the centre is surrounded by guest tables and a wedding table party that overlooks the room. I loved the set up, and it was a perfect set up for the perfect wedding.
I also attended a couple of highschool presentation evenings here to accept some awards in my last couple of years of highschool. The venue worked well for that event too. Iwould highly recommend checking it out for your own events.
