Deco/Ambiance — Simple, red and black. Soft lighting, pop music in the background. It was welcoming and friendly. Service — We were served by a friendly, knowledgable lady and a guy with a nice smile. The guy was new but you could tell he took the job seriously and made sure he did everything as best he could. They were both(plus another guy) super nice and approachable, which made the dining experience enjoyable. Food — We came on a Tuesday so it was $ 10 for all tapas. The food came quickly and I would rate it 90% delish. Standouts for me were the calamari, potato and cheese croquettes and empanada! Desserts were spot on. I had the almond pudding(torta de Santiago) with vanilla ice cream. So yum. Overall, I will definitely return again.

Nice food, good variety of tapas and reasonable price if you go on tapas Tuesday. My girlfriend probably got food poisoning from the anchovies or else I would have given four stars.

Definitely not a tasty or authentic tapas restaurant. I came here for lunch with my family and was disappointed. The food was mediocre and the service was poor. I ordered the tapas tasting plate which was the lunch special. For $ 17 you get 1 prawn lightly battered and fried(little taste and the batter was soggy). You get 1 cheese and potato croquet which also had little taste. You get half a chorizo which was tasty but very small. You get a small chicken skewer(half size) which was ok and a very small hand full of lightly battered calamari with garlic aioli. My husband ordered the wagyu cheese burger which he said was ok but was also quite soggy. The kids lunch special includes a drink with a plate of pasta and garlic bread. 2 ordered the Napolitano linguini which they said the sauce was too sweet. 2 ordered the pasta with meatballs and said the meatballs were yuck(I tasted one and admit that it was seasoned with lots of fennel, so probably why they didn’t like it). The service was disappointing. Firstly they gave 4 of us drinks when I ordered for 6 of us. After bringing out the kids meals I prompted them to bring out the other 2 children’s drinks as they seemed to have forgotten(10+mins had passed). I also had to ask for more cutlery as they only had the table set for 3. My husband and I then had to wait for 15+mins before our mediocre meals came. Then they gave me the bill which they charged me again for the drinks they had forgot. We also got a surcharge for eating on a Sunday. The meals and drinks came to $ 90 which was expensive considering the service and food were disappointing.

Was wandering around darling harbor with the family looking for somewhere to eat and we ended up here. I’m glad we did. We went for the tapas and rather than going with their(very tempting) set selections we ended up choosing our own selection. We spent the next couple off hours nibbling on a selection of really tasty tapas plates. The four of us(including one teenage boy with matching appetite) needed about 12 plates to make a meal. They were all good. Not one we didn’t like. The white anchovy with goat curd was a standout though. The big surprise at the end was the price. In spite of it’s location in tourist central, it was very reasonable. Their paella looked great as well so maybe next time…
