Location and atmosphere Absolutely beautiful seating area, sunny and shade for whatever your pleasure. My experience Placed an order for 2 x chicken burgers, an apple juice and possibly some lettuce on the side of the plate. Chicken burger as listed: chicken burger with avocado, bacon and chili jam. What arrived: chicken burger with mayonnaise and lettuce We then went to inquire about the avo, bacon and chili jam and we’re assured they’d come out on a side plate. 2 minutes later, «bacon actually doesn’t come on the sandwich.» Hmm the board lists bacon. «Oh, but our inside menu doesn’t have that.» Another 2 minutes later, a small bowl of avocado and chopped birdseye chilis arrive sans jam. Very old original Sydney sandstone architecture. Subtlety attached to the Sheridan hotel, you can charge to your room! The menu is a bit limited but very good value for money. I had the«gourmet hot dog(weisswurst)», left me longing for a giant soft pretzel and a waitress in a beer garden outfit. It was still good maybe just a bit incorreclty named. Very spacious outside dinning with a projection TV on the courtyard wall.

If your looking for somewhere in the city for a drink and a good feed above the benchmark of most city pubs these days, the Dundee Arms hits the mark. The bar area is small and can sometimes take a while to get a drink if its the lunch rush or after work however the food comes from the adjoining Four Seasons hotel kitchen so is much higher quality and taste then your average city pub. Less of the boozed out city crowd and more a relaxed young but grown up crowd. Well worth it.

Attached to the Four Points Hotel on Sussex Street in the city is a nice little pub called The Dundee Arms. Inside it’s a small pub with a few seats to grab a pint or something to eat from the pretty good bistro. Outside are a couple of beer gardens to grab some fresh air with one small area to the side and some more room right out the back. It’s a little pub that’s apparently one of Sydney’s earliest pubs and if you’re in the area it’s worth stopping in for a quiet drink. If you decide on kicking on after a few drinks you can maybe even grab a room at the Four Points!
