Went here with a big group of people from FoodSpotting, there’s a big forecourt and room inside too, so it’s good for large bookings. The hook here is the roti showboating, the waiters stand out the front, spinning and slapping the rotis down in impressive fashion. We found that if you ask nicely they’ll let you have a go! The food itself was decent, nothing amazing here but all tasty stuff. I liked the More More Cha, a layered milk tea which looks good and tastes lovely! I’ll do anything for a good milk tea though, but that makes me discerning! Trust my taste.

Went in for a quick feed on a Friday night. The restaurants is massive so no problems getting a table. From the outside it looks VERY touristy, with 2 guys throwing around roti for the cameras. BUT we were told the food is good so we ventured in. We went for the roti canai, beef rendang, morning glory vegetables fried up in sambal and cocnut rice. It was a feast. The flavours were intense, the service was quick and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There’s not much of a drink menu, but they are more than happy for you to BYO at $ 3pp corkage. A bit cheeky considering most places along dixon street don’t charge for BYO. The bill came to about $ 26pp. Give More More Cha a try if the line at Mamak is just to long to handle!
