Outstanding spice for first thing in the morning(albeit around 9am). Momentarily regretted adding the extra sambal to my roti canai, until after the first spontaneous chilli hiccough. Then all was fine with the world. Quick, easy, spicy and delicious. My kinda food.

Love this place, an offshoot of the popular Malaysian restaurant Malay Village in Chinatown, and its $ 5 roti canai, perfect for a snack or small meal. The roti is made fresh to order, and is ‘twirled’ in a spectacular fashion right before your eyes, just like at the Chinatown restaurant. There are a number of other items on the menu which i’ll admit I havn’t tried, but they all look pretty decent, and great value at under $ 10 each. There’s a limited amount of seating, but if it’s full you can always take your food up to the tables in the food court upstairs.
