Wandering around in chinatown and spotted this place. Got strawberry and mango snow. It was delicious. Yum.

3.5 stars. Decent Asian dessert café on Sussex — impressive breadth of desserts, from gelato, shaved ice, milk tea to hot desserts. Had excellent tong yuan(sesame dessert dumpling). Serves fresh taro(yum!) Mango shaved ice is decent(fresh mango is delish) but they mix fresh mango with the shaved ice, so the ice isn’t as fine as you might get in TW/Asia. Portions are large.

Its brightly coloured and if you decide to walk from China town back to Wynard on Sussex you will pass this place. Sooner or later you’ll go in and try it because, well its open and you’re hungry for something new. I ordered something called ‘Mo Mo Cha Cha’. I’m not sure what it is/supposed to be, but it was sugary to say the least. The only way I could easiy describe this as a bad version of Meet Fresh.

Do you ever have a late night asian dessert hankering? Of course I hear you say lol. Well LNC Dessert House is the place to go. This dessert place covers a plethora of cultures, not just Taiwanese and most of the desserts are ok. This is usually only an option for me late at night or if Meet Fresh is closed because there is nothing particular spectacular about this place, unless of course if you’re unfamiliar with asian desserts. I love sago, so I usually order something with sago in it or sometimes sticky rice balls. My friend likes the herbal tofu dessert. The place reminds me of an games arcade with its bright colours and I wouldn’t recommend this place on a cold day as the wind seems to come straight through and it gets pretty freezing. An asian spin to a late night dessert option.
