Location wonderful at Jonah’s.
On arrival it was clear that Jonah’s was primarily a hotel /​wedding reception venue.
The meal for the high price tag was disappointing .
The staff were confused every course was placed in front of the wrong person and different wait staff for every course.
The wine was decanted out of site.
The multiple course for fixed price correctly doesn’t reflect the unique quality and characteristics of an individual course.
A good wedding reception venue.

Visited Jonah’s last night after much anticipation. Let down would be putting it mildly. Neither the food nor service came anywhere close to living up to the steep price tag.
The waiter seemed to go missing for 20 mins at a time, forgot to bring the wine we’d ordered.
This place has ‘Sydney institution’ status because it’s been around forever and was presumably very good once. It’s not worthy of renown anymore. The incredible view only takes you so far until you realize you’re paying top dollar for a tired menu, and really crappy service.

Excellent, excellent, excellent.
What a view! Fantastic across the bay. Food is superb and so beautifully presented.
Okay its pricely but you won’t be disappointed.
The restaurant commands a beautiful view, and is wonderful and bright. There are rooms to stay in too.
You can take a seaplane from Sydney (central somewhere) and fly up for an evening meal and overnight stay.
