History

Established in 2008.

GOAL Soccer Academy was launched in March 2008 by Stuart Casey, a former UK professional football player and qualified Personal Trainer, with the aim of encouraging children to be more active in a social environment.

The Fun Club was created for children aged 2 – 5 year olds as a fun and engaging introduction to soccer, whilst the Academy for 5 – 12 year olds educates children to the finer points of the game, developing important skills such as tactical awareness, positional play, attacking and defending.

The School of Excellence was launched in 2013 for those children with the skills and focus to take their soccer development to the next level and to play against other children of the same standard in a challenging and rewarding environment.

GOAL now offers a complete pathway for children aged 2 – 12 years to fufil their soccer education.

Goal Soccer Academy is headed by Stuart Casey, a former UK professional football player, with over 20 years experience in the fitness and soccer industry.

Stuart went on to sign as a professional soccer player for his home town of Plymouth Argyle FC, fulfilling his childhood dream. For the next 5 years he played at some of England’s great football stadiums such as The Dell, Fratton Park and Villa Park. He also enjoyed playing against distinguished players such as Paul Gascoigne, Ian Wright and Jamie Redknapp.
