CBD Medical Practice

Been going to this place as my CBD doctor for the last 7 years. Bookings required but they will take walk ins if possible. Staff at the front desk are VERY ordinary but the Doctors are always great. They have a nurse onsite that will do blood tests Etc. Never had a bad experience.
I would recommend it because they have lots of doctors on site and you can always get an appointment in an appropriate time.

To be honest, the only thing good about this place is Dr. Nespelon. I’d give him a 4 star on his own if I could, but everything else is only worthy of a 2 star. I also like that they bulk bill.
But… they are NEVER running on time and most of the doctors treat you like a number, not a person.
I went in for a blood test and saw one of the doctors and had to go back in less than 24 hours later for the results and the doctor acted like she had never seen me before and asked what she could help me with– when she in fact was the one who told me to come back the next day. I’ve been to her about 8 times in the last couple of years and she always acts like we’ve never met and she’s never made an attempt to learn to pronounce my name.
My most recent experience has had me fuming! I had an appointment at 3:10pm. I called up around 3:05 to see if she was running on time. They told me she had 4 other people waiting before me– it would likely be a 40 – 50 minute wait! They offered for me to come in at 4:30 but I had a meeting at work I could not miss.
I asked if I could come at 5, they said no. I asked if I could change to a different doctor, they said no. I asked if my doctor could just call me (since the ONLY reason i was going in there was for a blood result), they said probably not but they would leave her a «message». What, they can’t speak to her for 20 seconds when they are in the next room? (She never called by the way) I asked if my test results could be sent to a different office, they said that I personally couldn’t make that request.
When I expressed a bit of frustration that they couldn’t accommodate me AT ALL (remember, this is all because the doctor was running 40 – 50 minutes late!!) they just said the doctors couldn’t see me later because they all had to leave at 5 because they have commitments.
YEA, ME TOO! Hence why 45 minutes late won’t work for me!
Like I said, other than Dr. Nespelon, who is great– the rest of the doctors that I’ve seen here here don’t really seem to care and the reception staff definitely doesn’t seem to.

Like most doctor’s surgeries, they are never running on time. A bit hit and miss with the doctors around the effectiveness /​usefulness.
Bulk billing is available.

Dr Fong is a great doctor, and shows a level of care and deliberation that is hard to find in doctors in the CBD. However they’re NEVER running on time here, and for Dr Fong especially there always seems to be an hour long wait.
Bring a book.
They also bulk bill.
