Walked pass and saw this little café hidden from the huge crowd at batch. Decided to give it a try. Their cappuccino is much better than batch!

this place is bomb. I had an iced coffee and a roast beef sandwich. The sandwhich was so fresh and made with love. the taste of the coffee was just perfect. I highly recommend to go there for a quick lunch. Best spot in town!!!

Geat little coffee spot hidden in the city. It’s always busy, but service is good and fast, so it’s no issue.
The coffee is good, and their banana bread is one of the best in the area — I’ve tried them all. It’s been around for a lot longer than most of its neighbors, for good reason.
The people that run it are very friendly. Most people are greated by name — it’s a big local’s place. Once I dropped my banana bread while picking it up, and they gave me a fresh one immediately.

Cheap and cheerful, Bar Pronto isn’t exactly eye catching. Slightly back from busy George Street I had noticed people consistently hanging around BP, but never thought much of it.
The coffee is good– strong, but without too big of a bite and no bitter taste. Value is great– $ 5.50 for a REAL AMERICAN BAGEL (!!!) with cream cheese and a regular coffee. The coffee alone will run you a measly $ 3. They’ve got a pretty decent menu of inexpensive sandwiches and rolls thats worth keeping in mind for the last days leading up to payday.
Overall the coffee at Bar Pronto falls somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for me, and with the friendly owner, the speedy service, and the delicious bagel, this place is worthy of being rounded up.

I have only ever had coffee here but it is amongst the best I have ever tasted. Also, the service is very friendly and fast, and the prices are approx. 50c cheaper than equivalent espresso coffee in the CBD. Highly recommended!
