I was lucky enough to win a day spa for myself and 3 friends, and Amrita was where our limo took us on the big day. We were treated to pretty much the works. I want a day spa in my house please. Sigh. The spa and swimming pool are on the rooftop of the Swissotel, and the hotel gym is also situated here. There was a lady dressed in riding boots and a leopard print faux fur jacket on the treadmill when we were there, which is neither here nor there but was rather amusing to behold.
So, we got there an hour early as instructed in order to make use of the spa facilities, but it was still quite chilly outside so after 20 minutes in the spa, a quick swim and a steam we were kind of over it so just hung around in the bathrooms gasbagging! Then one of the staff spotted us and directed us to a lovely waiting room and made us cups of tea before we were led into our treatments. Body scrub, foot scrub and full body massage. Very divine, thanks again Amrita!
