Great rustic style Italian dining in Sutherland. The staff are friendly and helpful, we’ve been going here regularly since they opened and it’s always nice to head in. The staff remember our names and always ask after the family. It’s only small so be sure to book if you want a table at peak times, especially for dinner. and the menu is always changing. Fresh, simple food with great flavor, and the coffee is good. The house made lemonade and tiramisu are absolutely delicious. You can’t go wrong — breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Delicious! I am glad I finally visited this place. Service was great, the good was amazing. We ordered the gluten free pizza and it was the best pizza we have ever had. The mushroom risotto was fantastic. Creamy, full of delicious mushrooms and perfectly cooked.
Can’t wait to go back again.

This place is adorable.
I stumbled across this place after I had just dropped my car off at the mechanic a few doors down. The «check engine» light was going to cost $ 1300 to turn off (admittedly there were some other steps involved) so I was grumpy and I needed caffeine ASAP.
Coffee was pretty good. The lemon cake was spectacular. Omg. Staff were really lovely.
I’m so coming back to buy up all the amazing looking Italian groceries, antipasti, cheeses, etc etc. It’s like an itty bitty corner of Norton St Grocer in Sutherland. With coffee. And cake. And a pretty awesome looking breakfast/lunch menu (will be back to try that too!).

Do you like good quality food with great service? Then look no further then Albero Di Lemone (Lemon Tree)!
5min walk from Sutherland Station this café specialises in yummy Italian cuisine and is also a delicatessen. They are open 6 days a week and import local and Italian products (great for gifts). Their general opening hours are 7am to 6pm but they stay open a little bit longer on Friday and Saturday nights, closing at 9pm.
Their breakfast menu is simple but done well with exceptional coffee. What I enjoy the most is their lunch and dinner specials menu. Ever changing but ever so scrumptious. My recent faves would have to be the Gnocchi Con Crema Porcini and Calamari e salsa olive.
The staff are so friendly and treat you like you are a true regular, even if it is your first time.
If you are finding yourself wanting to get away from the shire without leaving your doorstep then you definitely have to head to Albero Di Lemone!
