Reasonably price, good food and fast service. Went there after doing a gym session nearby and was starving. The food arrived not long after ordering which was great given how hungry we were. We ordered Pad Thai and Penang curry. The serving size was reasonable, the Penang curry was spicier than usual but the curry was a little watery than expected. The Pad Thai was as expected. Would definitely return here again whenever I’m hungry after hitting the nearby gym.

Love all the curries, so creamy and tasty, and with the right amount of spices. Staff are very friendly. Prices are good. No EFTPOS available though.

If i’m around Central and hungry i’ll usually come here for a $ 10 meal. Whenever I have Thai, i usually order Laksa and it’s disappointing that at Elephant Jump it tastes different every single time. The Pad See Ew is pretty nice as are the stir-frys and curries — well for $ 10 anyway. The staff are always really nice and happy to take out bean sprouts and onions which i don’t like.

As Thai food goes… this place was… ok. Ordering the chili Basil chicken, when it arrived it looked ok, but was pretty disappointed that the fried egg wasn’t runny. Upon tasting it, the overpowering salty MSG punch kind of ruined the experience. It was not so bad as to not finish it, but I was not overly impressed.

When I’m around Central Station, I like to come by this little Thai place for some no-frills curry. You can find it on the corner of Buckingham and Devonshire Streets. This place is pretty reliable when it comes to having standard Thai dishes like Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Laksa, but that’s where it ends. The menu is simply presented and quite limited. Whether you want a curry or noodle dish, the prices are more or less the same, with tofu, chicken, beef or squid for $ 10; or prawns for $ 13.50. I had a green curry last time I was here. I was kind of disappointed by the size of my serving, since it appeared much smaller than other places offer for more or less the same price. But taking into consideration that rice is also included(at some other places you got to tack on an extra couple of dollars for a plate of rice), I think it’s reasonable. After I finished, I realized that the portions might have been deceiving. I was so full! Not the best curry I’ve had, but it was still decent quality.
