My friend recommended it to me and it’s really a nice choice if you want to eat korean barbecue. Nice environment and delicious food. Four people will let you enjoy more dishes than a set. Booking for dinner make you have a seat quickly.

Pretty good! Interactive food experiences are always enjoyable. There are only two booking times for dinner so be prepared to last awhile at dinner, it’s no quick Affair. Monitor you’re own cooking at the table, sometimes the waiters are busy attending to others so watch your food doesn’t burn! Though it was enjoyable, I probably won’t go back.

Really loved this place. Towoo is a Korean barbecue restaurant that has that intimate feel, yet is great for group dining or a couple on a date. There’s an extensive menu on display here, with a variety of stir fry options. They did sound nice, but really it’s all about the barbecue, which is lovingly cooked by a member of staff at your table. We tried the barbecue chicken for starter. Awesome! For mains we couldn’t resist the charms of barbecue Angus beef and barbecue beef bibimbap. Again lip smackingly droolmongously amazing. Despite the fact the main came with tasty pickled veg, my partner was slightly concerned about the possibility of lack of veg so ordered us a salad. Holy moly! This thing came out and it was the size of Mount Etna. It was great but no way we were finishing it. I feel I need to give a special shout out the the two guys who served us. They realised my partner was pregnant and made a special effort to extra cook the meat, constantly checking she was happy with it. Top work guys. There is really nothing to dislike about this place. Great food, lovely staff, good ambiance and very reasonably priced. One of the shining lights this side of town. I will be back for sure.

Are you craving fatty, succulent, charcoal grilled beef hot off the grill and melting into your mouth? Get it right here at Towoo. A great Korean joint that I must insist you overdose on the beef. Anything we proceeded with the word wagyu — delicious. Bimbimbap was not bad at all and the KFC juicy and crispy as it should be. I’ll be back !

Been twice now, and both times tried a variety of different BBQ meat options and was really impressed at the quality of the cuts on offer. The bibimbap was great(and just so fun to say when ordering) but otherwise we stuck to the BBQ menu to ensure we got the most of the table-cooked experience. Lots of options to be found there, and all tender and delicious, cooked over red hot coals giving it a nicely measured smoky taste, not overpowering at all. Recommend going in a small group of 4 – 6 and order an array of meats to really get to enjoy what they do best here. The kimchi and other side dishes were replenished as we devoured them and not even sure they charge you for that, which is great. BYO too, with a really decent bottle shop just a few doors down, which helps make Towoo a great choice for a night out with friends.

Well this place was a lovely surprise! A last minute decision to eat out on a Friday night led us to our first(of many I hope!) visit to Towoo. Each table has an adjustable exhaust fan that comes down if you choose to get your food cooked at the table(and really… why else are you here?!). Once food is ordered, along comes a plethora of sides(kimchi etc) and the portable grill with VERY hot coals! So toasty on a cold Melbourne winter’s night. We ordered 2 types of steak with a side of vegetables — all grilled right before our eyes. The staff were attentive and friendly, and one server in particular was really sweet and told us his story of moving from Korea to be a chef in Melbourne. He spoke with such passion, it really was heart warming. This enthusiasm was evident in the food — it really was a tasty meal, with plenty of sides, condiments and sauces to enjoy. I can’t wait to return with a table full of friends!

I was quietly cursing my family for choosing this out of the way location for a family get together. Then as the Korean BBQ meats started coming out, along with delicious bibimbap the curses started turning into chorals. I can’t sing the praises enough of this place. The melt in your mouth cuts of meet, good service and healthy servings are worth the trip out if your in the market for a great Korean meal.

Really quite good Korean BBQ, with great cuts of pork belly and generous portions of beef bulgogi. The spicy red and sweet bulgogi marinades were well tempered and delicious. Recommend the beef bulgogi(it retains the smokiness of the coals very well) and for starters, the mixed plate of crumbed prawn, crab and fried lotus chips. Only downsides are the prices and the fact that despite making a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The service was lovely and apologetic though. We’ll be back.
