We booked for 5 nights a 3BR apartment through the agents Discover Queensland or as some might know them by Leisure Com. At the time of booking I asked about parking. I not only asked if they had an allotted park but also about disabled parking as I have 4 children with special needs and need to be close to the lifts. I was told by Discover Queensland that they had both. When we got to the Chevron Towers we arrived after their reception was closed. Once you were able to get into the reception area there was little instruction on what we should do next. We asked a cleaner and he told us to pick up the phone and talk to the after hours call service. Once we got the keys and instructions for parking which were not very clear about where to park. We spent approximately an hour trying to find our«specific park» for the apartment we were to stay in. I also, couldn’t find any disabled parks. I preceded to ring the Chevron Renaissance and again ended up speaking to the after hours service to find out from security that there is no disabled parks at all and that the apartment that we had been given did not have a «specific carpark» contrary to what their paperwork says. We were just told to find a park that is not reserved or signed otherwise. They were few and far between… and no parks anywhere near the lifts. We eventually got up to our apartment and the positive was that it was spacious and had lovely views of the ocean. It had air-con and 2 bathrooms and had plenty of plates and cutlery. On a down note the walls and doors were all filthy, the en-suite bathroom had all mould on the ceiling as the air-vent did not work at all. Heaps of damage to walls and there was numerous cracks and paint peeling off walls as well as gyp-rock. There was mould and dirty marks on the kitchen and living-room ceilings as well. The kitchen stove did not work properly so, it was hard to cook anything as it wouldn’t hold a constant temperature. On the bedroom door the door frame(damaged) as per pics had come away from the wall and had been badly damaged and not repaired. We took a blanket out of one of the cupboards and found a stale yucky band-aid on it and the quilts that were on the main bed were heavily stained and dirty. Some of the curtains were falling down around the windows so you couldn’t keep the light out in the wee hours of the morning. We did eventually have a maintenance guy who came up to fix the shower recess door that wasn’t sealing(water would run out all over the bathroom floor) and the curtain in the main bedroom. This is not 4-star accommodation. I am really disappointed both with the Chevron Renaissance and Discover Queensland for even recommending this place to any consumer. I have more pics but, I would be here a lot longer if I uploaded more… overall really disappointing! The reception staff were unhelpful and did not seem to care about the concerns we had in regards to the state of the apartment. I would although like to thank the man that was very lovely to us who took the«roll away bed» away for us. And to top it all off… On the morning of check out — We had NOHOTWATER! We tried to have these concerns addressed by Discover Queensland and The Chevron Renaissance(Mantra Towers of Chevron) but to date neither company has taken and responsibility or action. I believe, The Chevron have already received copies of these photos last week and I as the consumer don’t want anyone else to go through this considering we paid a lot for this negative experience! Hence, why I have uploaded them for people to see… Thanks

Booked to stay at Chevron Towers in the Skyline Tower for five nights last week with my band and was extremely happy with every aspect of our stay! We were placed on the 16th floor on the Eastern side so had a beautiful view of the ocean, the resort’s lagoon pool and some Surfers Paradise landmarks. Our apartment was spacious, well appointed and had a stove, washer and dryer, cooking utensils and everything else one could hope for when looking for a self-contained unit with holiday feel. Chevron Towers also have awesome facilities! There were three pools to choose from plus steam room, health spa and fitness centre which– though small, had a number of cardio and weight machines plus plenty of free weights to choose from. Smack bang in the centre of everything it was an absolutely perfect location to stay!

Great location, beautiful apartment, lovely views. Very helpful staff, were able to get a shuttle to Movieworld and not have to take car out into chaotic Surfers. Only problem we had was the car park which was like a maze. Great pool there for our 10 year old.
