If it’s breakfast time and I feel like something extra special I will make the journey to Limes! Sitting on the corner of Thomas Drive on Chevron Island this is a perfect place to sit back, enjoy the sunshine, eat good food and people watch.
Although some items on the menu are super pricey the quality of the food will leave you feeling pretty good about your splurge.
My favorite meal is definitely their Avo on toast with poached eggs though their Eggs Benedict is a close second. I was a little late for the breakfast menu on Saturday (it’s not all day) so ordered their Tandoori Chicken Wrap with Yoghurt dressing. I was really impressed and the serving size was huge so definitely could have shared it! The coffee is also excellent and the staff super friendly– they let me have free marshmallows when I paid my bill.
Definitely recommend coming here, you will not be disappointed.

Quite a nice place to eat, with a nice ‘watch the World go by location’ & wifi. Always popular. The food served is a little more on the health conscious side than I normally consume e.g. egg white omelette, so even though I’d be happy to go back my preference is a different café at the other end of the street, but that’s my preference obviously. This place is well worth a try especially for healthier types.
