This is Barbara & with my brother Stephan we joined Huso in transforming LA RUSTICA to a Mediterranean Restaurant bursting with wonderful flavours & secret recipes handed down from our parents & family history– You will find Stephan floating around the restaurant most nights, entertaining & supervising your dinning experience– Huso specialises in our famous hand made Pizzas & you will find him flipping bases as he welcomes you in to enjoy an evening with us– I’ll be popping in random nights, as have extended the family with 3 fantastic sons– I love to visit our guest & work along side our dedicated & personally picked staff who have joined our team as family– Fine tuning meals with Chefs & sharing our passion with wonderful people from around the world

Great Italian and Turkish place. We were a group of 8 ordered pasta dishes, risottos and a pizza. The pasta’s were good, however it was the risotto and Pizza that blew us away — so much flavour! Will be coming here again and hopefully trying some Turkish options then.

This busy little Italian restaurant was perfect for what we were looking for, away from the oversized tourist places. Hugh portions and great tasting pasta ! The glass of house red was just fine too !

A very small family restaurant in a row of family restaurants in Surfers Paradise. Only 6 tables inside and maybe 6 more outside. Take away business is brisk as we waited to be seated. Three of us had mixed greens salad (1 is enough for 3 men), garlic bread and lasagna. The lasagna was excellent as was the service. The food came out fast and hot.
This is not a fancy place but wonderful food at reasonable prices and family atmosphere.

A warm, cozy atmosphere and generous portions of bread and pasta made this place unforgettable! I would highly recommend the pesto pasta dish! Will be back :)

Our family had the meat lovers and a BBQ chicken pizzas. Tasty. Good thing crisp base. Good quality toppings. Good service. Cute place with a nice feel. One of the better pizza places we’ve been too. Nice one!

Called up earlier in the day to organise a 20 person group outing. Barbara — the owner — was amazingly helpful and the team at La Rustica cooked us a beautiful meal.
We’ve been coming here at this time every year for the last 4 years and the service has always been impeccable and the pasta delicious.
I highly recommend their haloumi cheese, and any pasta in their delicious creamy sauce!
If there was one thing that I would love to see back on their menu, it’s the gnocchi. I miss it!
Thanks guys, we’ll be back again next year!
